Fees & Funding

At Little Einsteins Nursery, we believe that families should always feel clear and confident about childcare costs. We are committed to being open and transparent about our fees, how government funding works, and what is included in your child’s place.

Our nursery fees reflect the high-quality care and early education we provide each day. They cover qualified and experienced staff, stimulating learning experiences, access to resources, and a safe, nurturing environment for your child to grow and thrive. Fees are reviewed annually to ensure we can continue to provide the very best care while meeting rising operational costs.

We offer a range of session options including full days and part-day sessions for children aged 0–5 years. A full breakdown of our current rates can be found in our fee schedule.

Government Funded Childcare

We accept all available government-funded childcare schemes for eligible families, including 15 hours and 30 hours funded childcare, as well as funded places for eligible two-year-olds.
Funding applies to childcare hours only. It does not cover additional services or day-to-day consumables.

If your child attends additional sessions beyond their funded hours, these are charged at our usual session rate.

Our team is always happy to help you understand your eligibility and support you through the application process.

The guidelines for this scheme have been set out by the government, and eligibility is determined by HMRC through an online application. Parents can check their eligibility at: www.childcarechoices.gov.uk.

Private Sessions, Funded Hours & Consumables

When families book private (non-funded) sessions, whether these are full days or additional hours beyond Funded Early Learning (FEL) entitlement, all consumables and meals are included within the session fee. There are no additional consumables charges for privately paid hours.

This also applies to any extended hours attended outside of a child’s funded entitlement — if the session is privately paid, everything listed below is included within the fee.

When Funded Early Learning (FEL) hours are being used, a separate consumables charge applies. Government funding covers childcare and early education only; it does not cover meals, snacks, resources, or additional activities. The consumables charge allows us to continue providing the same high-quality experiences and daily provisions for funded children as those attending private sessions.

    What the Consumables Charge Covers

    The consumables charge includes:
This charge does not include nappies or formula milk. These must always be provided by parents, regardless of whether sessions are funded or privately paid.
    The consumables package is optional.
Parents may choose to opt in or opt out:
We ask that families choosing to opt out ensure that all items are provided daily, clearly named, and in line with our healthy eating and safety policies.

    Annual Fee Review
Our nursery fees are reviewed annually to ensure we continue to provide high-quality care, resources, and staffing.
Any fee adjustments are implemented each September, in line with the start of the new funding academic year. Families are notified in advance of any changes.
    How Billing Works
Invoices are issued monthly and clearly show:
We aim to make invoices simple and easy to understand. If you ever have questions about your statement, our management team will be happy to go through it with you.
Payments are due by the date stated on your invoice. We ask families to provide four weeks’ written notice if reducing sessions or leaving the nursery, as fees remain payable during the notice period.
